The Entrepreneurial DNA!!

Is it different?? I think it is, like something tells me a 100 times that i want to do something on my own, and i dont dream of small firm and selling it off, i dream of conglomerates. WHY?? Because papa was one?? Because i have seen him work according to his will and make things unbelievably successful?? Its the DNA?? I know the challenges, the efforts and also the stage of failure, but then i just know that it must have been fun. Its just that the risk taking capability is higher in these people and they dont work for money, money just comes by. Its a mindset and its just there. If i look back at my friends at ISB, i get attached to entrepreneurs, we talk same language, two of my best pals in b school have entrepreneurial DNA. :) There are credentials and anyone will pick such people for any kind of salary and position because they have the attitude, but then they just know that they cant work under anyone for anything. There will be a time when all the money, power and travel will look lame because there is more to life, there is something called ownership and joy of creation. Most of my friends are free spirited, daring, people with strong will power and ability to tranform world if they get down to it. They are just themselves and they are very different from the general crowd in their approach and thought process. There are different kinds of leaders: there are beaurocrats, there are executives and then there are entrepreneurs. Beaurocrats will follow a code of conduct, executives will have lots to learn from past, entrepreneurs will just do what present offers to them, they learn less from past and they dont know which work belongs to whom. May be its really the DNA, there isnt much one can do to change it. :)
