I am reading one very interesting book on beaurocracy in India which was gift of Nehru dynasty to India and how entrepreneurs failed one after another to setup anything because of the "License Raj". Dhirubhai Ambani was the only man who could exploit the system to his advantage given his focus and willingness to move. I dont know, there are millions of questions on his integrity, but this book has transformed my thought process about him. If things around you are completely illiogical what would you do?? Give Up?? Be in the system to fight the system?? From rags to riches he did not reach overnight, he knew Indian democracy was leftist and he made Reliance out of it. Aditya Birla ventured out of India to evade this, but this man played dirty to stay and grow. I dont know, i somehow feel that his approach at that time was not wrong, just that he lost integrity as base in longer run which made mess out of the moral base of his organziation in long run. They found an easy for everything.
Did he sing this to Nehru Dynasty, "Kitne bhi tu kar le sitam, hans hans ke sahenge hum, ye pyaar na hoga kam, sanam teri kasam.. " :D
